Is a rug on a slab any different from one on wood?
The floor under it matters mostly for drying and for what has soaked in previously. Either way the rug is cleaned lying flat where it is, the moisture that goes in is minimal, and what is beneath ends up damp at worst. If an old pet accident went through into the slab, that part cannot be treated from above and we will say so.
The rug has a pale stripe along one side from the window. Does that come back?
