Viscose is not a defect, it just has to be treated as what it is. The pile flattens and shades where anyone walks, water rings mark it, and a wet-heavy method can turn a pale rug the color of weak tea. Our pass is low-moisture and carbonated to begin with, which suits it: soil is brought to the surface and taken away with most of the small amount of moisture applied. Even so there are limits, and you will hear which marks on a viscose piece are staying. Nobody here is going to promise a rug that comes back looking new when it will not.

A cushion soaked in a heavy cleaning does not give the water back quickly here; it holds it in the foam and starts to smell sour. How much of my day does this take?

Do you clean the rug pad underneath as well?
